Written Expression: US Topics - Detailseite

This course is designed to strengthen students’ written communication skills by exploring US American topics and themes. Students will gain a thorough understanding of the writing process, including brainstorming, prewriting, drafting, and revising for clarity and impact. The course emphasizes mastering key competencies such as summarizing, argumentative writing, and text analysis. Students will learn to identify and apply stylistic devices to improve their writing. They will also practice interpreting and describing charts and data, tailoring their writing to various audiences, and using language with greater precision and creativity. Additionally, the course will explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence in the writing process and offer practical guidance on teaching writing effectively to others.
