The Seminar "Literature Review" is designed for MA students and BGSS doctoral students. Literature on how to write a literature review in research papers, as well as literature on theoretical and methodological aspects, will be discussed in class. Individual assignments on the seminar literature, as well as the application of the literature to the students' research project, will support class discussion. MA and doctoral students will present pieces of their written literature review work and give peer comments to the other papers. Organisational matters: The seminar is open to doctoral candidates of the BGSS (all topics) and MA students planning to write their MA thesis on migration politics. Potential MA participants are asked to e-mail the lecturer with a brief summary (1/2 page) on their interest in migration politics and to register via Agnes before the relevant deadlines.
The Seminar will take place fortnightly, starting on Tuesday, 22 October.
