In order to read a book, you need to be able to understand the words written in it. These words carry specific meaning and, in a certain order, denote further meaning. It is very much the same with financial markets. Through technical analysis of price action, it is possible to 'read' tendencies in financial markets. In this course, you will learn how this can be done. By looking at Japanese candlestick charting techniques, and combining them with western indicators, you will learn how to 'read' price action. This, in turn, will lead to you being able to make solid investment decisions.
In this course, we will study the language of the markets, and both western and eastern candlestick patterns. At the end of the course, you will be expected to write your own trade plan/ investment portfolio in English, using the language and techniques studied in the course. Specific areas we will cover include Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques, Support & Resistance, Risk Management, The Psychology of Trading, and Price Action Systems/ Finding Your Edge.
Regarding the format (online or face-to-face), this will be negotiated with the students in the first session.
