MWP2 Information Behavior und Information Practice
Hinweis
The module "Information Behavior & Information Practice" provides advanced knowledge in theories and models of information behavior research. The aim of the courses is to enable students to describe and explain human information behavior in a context-sensitive way and to make it visible in data. In particular, this includes information behavior in social, normative or habitual situations and in groups. Furthermore, students will be able to conduct their own empirical user studies and apply methods of qualitative data collection and analysis.

Contents include, but are not limited to: information practices, context in information behavior, collaborative and lay information behavior, health information behavior, information experience, as well as the design and implementation of user studies and the collection and analysis of qualitative data.

IMPORTANT: The attendance of both courses in this module (VL and SE) is essential, as the courses are related in content.
