The aim of the tutorial is to collectively write papers on the evolution of cooperation and language—which are both uniquely expressed in humans. Please apply if you are interested in the evolution of language and the human mind and in publishing your first paper. A broad background in the subject area is not required. The most important quality for your participation in this tutorial is your motivation.
In the last semester, we worked on three papers as an interdisciplinary team from five different faculties (biology, sociology, linguistics, philosophy, and mind and brain) at the Humboldt-University of Berlin. One paper is already accepted for publication, another paper is under review, and we have also been accepted to attend a conference.
The deeper aim of the tutorial is to develop a theory on the evolution of the human mind which can be used to reliably build theories on social change. For more information on how to apply please see: https://tillnikolausvonheiseler.com/how-to-apply-to-collective-paper-writing-class/.
